NB: The courses Administration of Buccal Midazolam and Administration of Rectal Diazepam will not be delivered as ‘stand alone’ courses. If the delegate has not previously undertaken the Epilepsy Awareness course with the trainer – they will need to provide evidence (eg. Certificate, course materials) of having attended a similar course. Where the evidence is not available the delegate will be required to complete a pre-course questionnaire to provide evidence of their knowledge.

This is in compliance with the Core Components of a Buccal Midazolam/Rectal Diazepam course indicated in the Joint Epilepsy Council guidelines.
