Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF)
Who Should Attend?
The course is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed for those who have a specific responsibility at work, to provide first aid in a range of emergency first aid situations. It is also ideal for people who have specific responsibility to provide basic first aid in voluntary and community activities.
What will Attendees learn?
During this 1 day course the learners will develop skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations.
The course consists of one unit:
Unit 1: Emergency First Aid in the Workplace
The course covers the following areas:
- The roles and responsibilities of an emergency first aider.
- Assessing and managing an unresponsive casualty
- CPR, choking, wounds and bleeding and minor injuries and more.

In order to acheive the qualification the full 6 hours need to be completed and the learner will need to demonstrate competence in the 4 practical assessments they will be observed carrying out. Assessment will be continuous throughout the course and there is 1 theory assessment/multipe choice question paper to be completed also.
