The 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work Course - FAA Level 3 is a comprehensive, accredited training program. Designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide first aid interventions in the workplace.
Course Content:
Led by experienced instructors, the Emergency First Aid at Work Course covers the following topics:
Roles and responsibilities of a first-aider
Assessing an incident and managing an unresponsive casualty
CPR and use of AED
Dealing with an unresponsive casualty
Basic hygiene in First Aid
Minor injuries
Bleeding control
Burns
Choking
Epilepsy
Shock
Teaching Methodology:
Through a combination of lectures, hands-on skills practice, and simulation scenarios, participants will gain a deep understanding of the subject matter and develop the skills necessary to apply this knowledge in real-world situations.
Target Audience:
The 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work course is suitable for individuals who have been identified as first aiders in the workplace or those who wish to become a certified first aider.
Ideal for low risk sectors (offices, shops), this First Aid course will help to bring you or your staff to the level recommended by the HSE, and as a regulated qualification removes the need for you to undertake further due diligence as to the quality of your training provider. It provides training for a wide range of scenarios and by the end of this course you will have the knowledge, ability and confidence to administer First Aid.
For higher risk environments (e.g. construction, manufacturing or chemical plants), the Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work course will provide the level of required First Aid training.
Prerequisites:
No prior knowledge or experience is required, making this course accessible to a wide range of individuals.
It is an active course and will require a reasonable level of fitness.
